䷚ 山雷頤

舍爾靈龜，觀我朵頤，凶。

象曰：觀我朵頤，亦不足貴也。

Casting aside your own magic tortoise — your own gifts — and watching me eat with envious mouth. Misfortune.

顛頤，拂經，于丘頤，征凶。

象曰：六二征凶，行失類也。

Turning downward for nourishment against the natural order, and then to the high hill against reason as well. To go forward brings misfortune.

拂頤，貞凶，十年勿用，无攸利。

象曰：十年勿用，道大悖也。

Going against the right way of nourishment. Even holding to it brings misfortune. For ten years nothing can be undertaken; nothing to be gained.

顛頤吉，虎視眈眈，其欲逐逐，无咎。

象曰：顛頤之吉，上施光也。

Turning downward for nourishment, yet here it is auspicious. Like a tiger watching with fixed intent, its desire single. No blame.

拂經，居貞吉，不可涉大川。

象曰：居貞之吉，順以從上也。

Going against the usual order, depending on another for nourishment. Settle down and hold to what is right and there is good fortune; do not cross the great water.

由頤，厲吉，利涉大川。

象曰：由頤厲吉，大有慶也。

All under heaven are nourished through you — a heavy charge. Stay awake to the danger and there is good fortune; it profits you to cross the great water.
