小亨。利有攸往。利見大人。

重巽以申命，剛巽乎中正而志行。柔皆順乎剛，是以小亨，利有攸往，利見大人。

隨風，巽；君子以申命行事。

| First Six | 進退，利武人之貞。 象曰：進退，志疑也。利武人之貞，志治也。 Wavering between advance and retreat. It profits a soldier to hold to what is right — decisiveness makes up for irresolution. |

| Second Nine | 巽在牀下，用史巫紛若，吉无咎。 象曰：紛若之吉，得中也。 Humbling oneself even beneath the couch, and calling on scribes and diviners in reverence to reach what is above. Good fortune, and no blame. |
| Third Nine | 頻巽，吝。 象曰：頻巽之吝，志窮也。 Complying with a frown and against the grain, over and over. Difficulty. |
| Fourth Six | 悔亡，田獲三品。 象曰：田獲三品，有功也。 Regret disappears. In the hunt, game of all three grades is taken. |
| Fifth Nine | 貞吉悔亡，无不利。无初有終，先庚三日，后庚三日，吉。 象曰：九五之吉，位正中也。 Hold to what is right and there is good fortune; regret disappears, and nothing fails to go well. No good beginning, but a good end. Weigh things carefully both before and after the change — three days before and three days after — and there is good fortune. |
| Top Nine | 巽在牀下，喪其資斧，貞凶。 象曰：巽在牀下，上窮也。喪其資斧，正乎凶也。 Humbling oneself even beneath the couch — deference carried too far. The decisiveness of the axe is lost, and even holding on brings misfortune. |
