䷕ 山火賁

賁其趾，舍車而徒。

象曰：舍車而徒，義弗乘也。

Adorning one's own steps: leaving the carriage and going on foot — content with one's place, unmoved by show.

賁其須。

象曰：賁其須，與上興也。

Adorning one's own beard — moving only with the body it belongs to, never alone.

賁如濡如，永貞吉。

象曰：永貞之吉，終莫之陵也。

Adorned and glossy. Hold to what is right for the long run and there is good fortune.

賁如皤如，白馬翰如，匪寇婚媾。

象曰：六四，當位疑也。匪寇婚媾，終无尤也。

Plain white, like a white horse in flight. Not a robber but a suitor — returning to plainness and asking in sincerity.

賁於丘園，束帛戔戔，吝，終吉。

象曰：六五之吉，有喜也。

Adornment among the hills and gardens; the roll of silk is meagre. There is difficulty, but in the end good fortune.

白賁，无咎。

象曰：白賁无咎，上得志也。

Adornment in plain white — a return to the unvarnished. No blame.
