象曰：屨校滅趾，不行也。

象曰：遇毒，位不當也。

噬乾胏，得金矢，利艱貞，吉。

象曰：利艱貞吉，未光也。

Biting dried meat on the bone and finding a metal arrow — straight and hard. It serves to hold to what is right amid difficulty. Good fortune.

噬乾肉，得黃金，貞厲，无咎。

象曰：貞厲无咎，得當也。

Biting dried meat and finding yellow gold — the middle way. Hold to what is right and stay alert to danger. No blame.

何校滅耳，凶。

象曰：何校滅耳，聰不明也。

Guilt heaped high: the heavy cangue on the shoulders and the ears cut away. Misfortune.
